Tenant Fees
As well as paying the rent, you may also be required to make the following permitted payments.
Before the tenancy starts (payable to Kinzett & Bowler ‘the Agent’)
Holding Deposit: Equivalent to one weeks' rent
Deposit: Five weeks’ rent
During the tenancy (payable to the Agent)
For English properties:
Payment of £50 including VAT if you want to change the tenancy agreement
Payment of interest for the late payment of rent at a rate of 3% above the base rate used by the Bank of England on any balance owed for 14 days or more, from the date it should have been paid.
Payment to cover reasonable costs incurred for the loss of keys/security devices.
Payment of any unpaid rent or other reasonable costs associated with your early termination of the tenancy if you give notice you are going to leave the property before your agreement has ended and continue to pay the rent in advance for each rent period until a new tenant moves in. We do not have to take the property or the tenancy back from you early unless we want to do so.
During the tenancy (payable to the provider) if permitted and applicable
Utilities – gas, electricity, water
Communications – telephone and broadband
Installation of cable/satellite
Subscription to cable/satellite supplier
Television licence
Council Tax
Other permitted payments
Any other permitted payments, not included above, under the relevant legislation including contractual damages.
Tenant protection
Kinzett & Bowler are members of;
Client Money Protect, which is a client money protection scheme.
The Property Ombudsman, which is a redress scheme.
